A New Social Club in West Palm Beach: Inside Dus Paddle's 26,500 Square Foot Bet on Sport, Social, and Wellness
West Palm Beach is getting a brand-new 26,500 square foot paddle and wellness club called Dus Paddle, opening this September 2026 just west of I-95 off Okeechobee Boulevard. The club is being built around six paddle courts, a full wellness area with a sauna and cold plunge, and a cafe and lounge designed for people to work, socialize, and recover in one place.

I track new lifestyle and wellness developments across South Florida because amenities like this shape where buyers and relocators actually want to live. Here is the full breakdown.
What Is Dus Paddle, and Where Is It Opening
Dus Paddle is a 26,500 square foot paddle and wellness club set to open in West Palm Beach in September 2026, located just west of I-95 off Okeechobee Boulevard. Unlike clubs built around golf or pickleball, Dus is centered entirely on padel, a sport that's been gaining serious momentum across South Florida. The location puts it in an easy-access corridor for West Palm Beach residents, which matters for a concept that depends on people showing up regularly.
Is Padel Really More Fun Than Pickleball?
In my opinion, padel edges out pickleball on fun, and it comes down to skill and strategy. Padel is played in an enclosed court where the ball can be played off the surrounding glass, which adds a layer of shot-making and tactics that pickleball's open court doesn't really have. That extra complexity is part of why padel clubs like Dus are starting to pop up across the region as players look for something with more depth.
What's Inside the 26,500 Square Foot Club
Dus is built around three core pillars: sport, social, and wellness. The facility will include six total paddle courts, five set up for doubles play and one for singles, giving it enough capacity to run leagues, open play, and private lessons at the same time. Beyond the courts, members will have access to a cafe, a lounge, and a pro shop, positioning Dus as a place to spend a few hours rather than just play a quick match and leave.
The Wellness Angle: Sauna, Cold Plunge, and Recovery
Recovery is one of the most overlooked parts of an active lifestyle, and Dus is treating it as a core feature rather than an afterthought. The wellness area includes a sauna and a cold plunge, giving members a way to recover after playing rather than just walking off the court. As someone training for an Iron Man, recovery is a piece I personally tend to overlook, so seeing a club build it into the concept from day one stands out.
What This Means for West Palm Beach Residents and Buyers
West Palm Beach has been short on what Dus is calling a genuine "third place," somewhere outside of home and work to be social, stay active, and take care of your body. For people considering a move to West Palm Beach, amenities like this matter more than they get credit for. Buyers relocating for an active lifestyle are increasingly weighing walkability to fitness, dining, and social clubs alongside square footage and school zones, and a concept like Dus adds real value to the surrounding area.
Am I Excited About Dus Opening in West Palm Beach?
Yes, I am. West Palm Beach has been building out its lifestyle amenities quickly, and a dedicated padel and wellness club fills a real gap between pure fitness clubs and purely social ones. I'll be watching how quickly it fills up once it opens in September, since that will say a lot about how much appetite there is for padel here.
